assignment: a piece a day for 30 days for Murze magazine. Walking into the Portland Art Museum I was struck by the photographs taken at Lodz ghetto by Henryk Ross, and thus took photos of details. Something stirred in me that day, and then i went home to find out about the mass killing in Pittsburgh at the Temple of Life, close to my old college home. My son made risograph prints as a starting point.
